A Perfect Spot To
Create Amazing Wine
The vines have to work hard for nutrients in our gravelly volcanic soils, producing grapes with more concentrated flavor and with skins that are naturally thickened by the winds of the Petaluma Gap, creating richer body, and a bright acid balance.
This expression of Panther Ridge
is a true Earth Mother, with a lithe
texture. A veil of cinnamon mocha
and spiced black cherry is made
alert by a fine acid structure. It
finishes with a zing of cranberry
and sandalwood.

FARMING + LOCATION = 93 & 95 PT RATINGS

We have never spread any commercial chemicals on our vineyard. In early 2020 we began farming the vineyard by following biodynamic principles.

The volcanic soils provide an added boost to flavors that make our wines truly memorable.

A perfect combination of soils, climate, and winemaking — all of which allow the grapes to express their personality in the resulting wine.

"Aromas of tart cherry, cocoa powder and cola spice swirl in the glass of this spicy and structured Pinot. The palate showcases intense cherry liqueur, dark chocolate, black tea and a wealth of rich tannin before a long and cinnamon scented finish."

"This truly peach colored rosé is soft all around and aromas of fresh cut flowers, melon and Meyer lemon peel evoke sunshine and beach-y vibes. The palate is fresh and lively with plenty of Rainier cherry and lemon zest flavors along the finish."

"An intensely dark and dramatic take on Pinot, this native yeast fermented wine dives into the deep end of the spice pool, with star anise, cardamom and cinnamon aromas swirling along with black cherry aromas on the nose. The palate is dark in flavor, but buoyed by silky tannins and lively acidity." -

"What begins as an offering of Mayan cocoa evolves into lovely, deep, and silky, dark mountain raspberry fruit. Cordial, Moroccan spice with a faint hint of baked anise in your grandmother’s cake. Rich in concentration but not overdone. Balanced, showing great acidity and truly built for toasted chicken or turkey, but Peking duck calls like red satin gracing a single and matured, Melania, free from her confines and gracing a dance floor at a ball in a grand hotel…spirited and sexy."

"Dark red in color, the 2021 Pinot Noir Reserve boasts ripe aromas of leather, baked cherries, forest floor, and wild herbs. Medium-bodied, it has good tension on the palate, with refreshing acidity, ripe, well-defined tannins, and a rather long finish. It is a very nicely structured wine with the bones to age over the coming 10 years."
